Job Description

Serve as a consultant in mapping the process improvement to business leaders, including techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, process mapping, procedure development and documentation

Acting as a process (Lean, Six Sigma) & Kaizen subject matter expert/Coach to effectively partner with business customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions

They should be able to analyze and understand process mapping as a method of visualizing an ongoing process.

Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost & Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met

Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements for Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers

Manage and develop logistics staff & Create and manage budgets

They should know how to analyze information from customers, vendors, and key stakeholders.

They are required to perform analysis to detect inefficiencies within the scope of a given workflow. Document processes and workflows

Develop a clear and detailed process maps and business requirements

Balancing conventional and innovative ways to deploy process intent and execute in a way that fits the business customers style while maintaining consistency across the Auto organization

Provides process improvement recommendations and solutions based on specific customer/business needs of larger engagements that enable Global Operations to achieve its priorities and strategy in producing

Engaging with associates at various levels of the organizations from front-line performers, people, process and senior leadership

Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to influence and provide transparency to senior leadership and executives

Provide visibility into process activities through various communication channels and identify and recognize process achievements

Assists other project leaders in specific areas as needed such as facilitation, analysis, process mapping, brain-storming, project management issues.

Qualifications for Logistics Consultant-

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering

10+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles

Strong team player & Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports

Exceptional organizational and analytical skills

Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software
